THE EDFU-PROJECT
| Between October 2005 and February 2006 Dr. Uwe Bartels built a model of the temple of Edfu in a scale of 1:150. The model consists of five modules (pylon, girdle wall, naos, pronaos and base) - each one can be removed to get the best view to all parts of the temple. Additionally the roofs of the pronaos and naos as well as the northern wall of the western pylon tower were made out of glass so the staircases and rooms of the temple can be seen. |
